How Green was My Valley

THE CAMERA ANGLE
The Japanese director, Ozu Yasujiro, had a style coming from placing the camera slightly lower than the eye level of a person sitting on the floor, since in Japan, inside houses and apartments
people live sitting directly on the floor. This is a scene from a family film about a visit of parents to their children living in the capital city of the newly prospering Japan in the 1950's: Tokyo Story.
